[Review] The Saem Arabia Treasure Ultra Moisture Body Cream

Claims to:
The oatmeal absorbs the moisture in the air and forms the protection film on the skin to prevent the evaporation of the moisture.

The shea butter extracted from the seeds of sapotaceae tree continues to keep moisture steadily to give a moisturizing effect

Ingredients:Unfortunately the hotel cleaner threw away my packaging box. I will upload the ingredient list when I repurchase this product.

Directions:
Relieving moderate dryness feeling, apply appropriate  amount to the skin with massage gently, focus on dry and rough part is recommended

Size: 200ml
Price: 10,000 won

My skin was absolutely dehydrated from the harsh weather in Korea, as compared to the weather in Hong Kong which was much more humid. ( I can survive in Hong Kong without putting body creams on, especially in summer you wouldn't want to put anything on, because the weather itself is already causing you to feel very sticky >.< Yuck!)

I got this cream as a birthday present from my friend, I absolutely love it because I am in need of one.

The packaging of this design is nothing fancy or cute, just a simple design in a tube format. I think because of how convenient the packaging is and how it doesn't take up much space on my desk so I m constantly reminded that I have to apply cream on myself. I applied this cream on three times a day.

Honestly the texture was really different to my expectation, I was expecting something creamy or buttery like the 'Kiehl's Creme de Corps'. Rather then a buttery texture it has a consistency between cream and gel, somewhat reminds me of honey. The texture is nor thick or thin, but glossy like honey. It is slightly sticky after you apply it on, but in such dry weather you would not find it annoying, plus the absorption is quite fast so after the cream sinks in, it will not be sticky.

This does keep your skin really hydrated and moisturize. But does it help reduce dry wrinkles caused by dehydration, I didn't see much of a result till nearing to the end of using this product.

I think the scent of this product is very addictive, it smells sweet like lavender-like scent.

Will I repurchase the product?
If only this was slightly cheaper I will definitely say yes, because for the same price I can probably can my hands on Nivea body cream which will last much longer than this product.
If this was on sale I will definitely repurchase it again, for now I am contemplating whether I should get another one.

[Review] Innisfree Soybean Energy Essence

Claims to:
"It purifies your dull skin tone, while boosting up your disturbed skin texture, leaving a translucent, healthy looking complexion"
Ingredients:
Soybean ferment Extract, Propanediol, Arbutin, Avena Sativa Kernel Extract, Nelumbonucifera Flower Extract, Prunus Mume Fruit Extract, Adenosine, Subtilisin, Xanthan Gum, Lactic Acid, Citric Acid, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, PEG/PPG/Poly Butylene Glycol-8/5/3 Glycerin, BIS-PEG-18 Methyl Ether Dimethyl Silane 1, 3-Hexanediol Sodium Polycrylate, Glyceryl  Carprylate, Water, Ethylhexylglycerin, Disodium Edta
No surprise, this is another product famous for being the dupe of the SKII treatment facial essence.

Directions:
Smooth an appropriate amount over cleansed face. Wet cotton pad with essence and pat to allow formula to fully absorb into skin.

Size: 80ml and 150ml
Price: 80ml= 22,000 KRW
           150ml= 35,000 KRW

The texture of this essence is really viscous, is even more viscous than the SK II treatment facial essence, but I honestly prefer this over the SK-II because it is odorless unlike the SK-II which actually smells like some kind of stinky water, actually SK-II treatment essence smells similar fancl products at first than after oxidization it turns kind of smelly (And also this is much cheaper than SK II haha).

When first apply on to the face, it does feel sticky but as you let the product sink into your skin the sticky residue goes away. I find it interesting and enjoyable to use, because as I am  patting this product around my face to let it sink in, the thick viscosity of the product causes it to create a stringy effect, similar to when you use snail products :D

The product does do what it claims, after finishing using the 80ml product for over 2 months, I see a significant results, and my skin is less bumpy and dull looking. A lot of my friends have complimented as to how healthy my skin looks, so I must say this is my holy grail product :D

However the only downside of this product is that, I cannot use this product on consecutive days as it causes me to have breakouts, so I only used this product for a maximum of 3 times a week. And also, I won’t use this product during summer season (in humid places e.g. Hong Kong), unless I am under an air condition environment overnight, because as I have stated this product can be sticky when you first apply onto your face. Other than that I enjoy using this product :D

This summer they have launched a new version which is specially made for summer, it is the soybean energy essence light version, personally I haven't tried it yet, so I couldn't give you guys a review on it.

I love the packaging, it looks kinda luxurious because the bottle looks like glass but in fact is only plastic, so is not heavy and less prone to breaking :D

Will I repurchase this product?
Yes I would, perhaps I should say I just got myself a 150ml version of this product. (To be honest there is a such a big difference in size, comparing the size of the two bottles is so shocking haha)

[Review] Doctorcos Amino Acid Hybrid Sheet Free Mask Advanced

The worst thing to ever do is forget your own moisturiser on your trip! So I went to Korea without my cosmetics, so I was in need of something moisturising as it was winter (snowing) in Korea. So I ended up shopping at some random discount store, and asking for some recommendation, the sales person ended up recommending me this cream.

This cream claims to:
" This new beauty technology  allows a three layer effect to ensure the skin is  provided with nutrients, skin pore tightening effects, increased elasticity, intensive moisturising and incredible hydration capibilities to give a soft, youthful, dewy glow. No need for extra serums. This all in one product does it all!"

"Alcohol Free, Ammonia Free, Cruelty Free, Fragrance Free, Silicon Free, Formaldehyde Free and Contain Minerals"

Ingredients:
Water, Cyclomethicone, Butylene Glycol, PEG-32, Dimethicone, Vinyl Dimethicone Crossopolymer, Sodium Hyaluronate, Niacinamide, Alcohol, Cetyl PEG, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Sodium Chloride, Betaine, Raffinose, Velvet Extract, Ganoderma Lucidum Stem Extract, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Asparagus Cochinchinensis Root Extract, Astagalus membranaceus, Ceramide 3, Benzyl Alcohol, Dehydroacetic Acid, Fragrance, Disodium EDTA, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Hydrolyzed collagen, Human Oligopeptide-1., Hydrolyzed Royal Jelly Protein, Copper Tripeptide-1

[I am not sure if this is the exact ingredient list as I found this on the net]

Directions:

  • Day Cream
  • Apply a 1-2mm layer of cream all over the face. This cream can also be used under make-up for a smoother application
  •  Makeup + Cream
  • You can also blend this cream with BB cream or foundation at a 8:2 ratio. (8 being the foundation or BB cream and 2 as the doctorcos cream)
  • Sleeping Mask
  • Massage a 2-3mm layer of the cream on the face and neck then sleep with it. Rinsing is not necessary, but if you like you can rinse it off in the morning.

Cost: 15,000 won
Size: 110 ml (but i know it comes in a tube form which is 60g)

This product is highly raved about in Asia, however I totally was not aware of this trend when I was purchasing this product.

The packaging of this product is nothing fancy just something really simple, however is not very hygienic as it is in a jar form and it did not come with a mini spatula/ spoon. On the other hand it did come  with a plastic sealing cap to prevent dust and germs :D

Sorry about the wrong order of this picture

The texture of this cream is very lightweight and is white in colour, but it is kinda half transparent, so it doesn't look entirely white, more to a "milky" look, is really hard to describe the texture but is similar to a gel cream, or perhaps silicone primers (however this product does not contain silicone), this texture is not sticky at all and very refreshing and fast absorption.

As you are blending out the cream onto your face, it forms water droplets, this helps to lock in your moisture.

After this cream settles in your face, it creates a barrier over your skin, however that barriers is not like a film texture, so you can definitely feel safe if you are intending to apply make up after using this product.

The scent is very refreshing and mild, it smells kinda similar to a citrus scent.
(Is really hard describing the scent T.T)

I think this product is not very effective as it is not hydrating enough, especially if you live in dry environment like Australia or the harsh snowing winter in Korea. But perhaps if you live in hot humid country like Malaysia this will be a very nice product as it is not sticky. However if you work in an air conditioned environment I don't think purely relying on this cream will be sufficient. I would recommend this product to mainly people with normal skin, but for people with oily skin is worth trying in humid and hot weather. As for dry skin, I don't think I will recommend this product to you guys.

My general thoughts on this product is that  it is not very effective as  I did not see my pores minimizing, as well as other factors it claims to do such as improving skin elasticity, intense moisturising and dewy youthful glow. I kinda think this product is over raved.

Although this product is quite cheap but I don't think I will repurchase it as I did not see any effects on my skin,

Product Size: 30mL

I'm not pretty sure if all of you guys know the youtuber/ blogger yellowycream or Liah but I really like her reviews on youtube, her reviews on products are just so real and persuasive, I honestly want to buy all the products she recommends haha. I have seen a lot of positive reviews from other famous youtubers and bloggers such as beautifymeeh....
Anyways the main point is I was convince to buy this product haha, since it sounds so great :D

I have tried this product for around 4 months now so I thought I should do a review :D

The packaging of this product is not anything grand nor fancy, it is just very simple like some medical brand cosmetics, I actually quite like the design, especially on the top, it has a little cartoon drawing.

The texture of this cream is very much like typical thick and rich cream, is not runny or anything like gel creams, and it is light green in colour (you can't really tell in the photo probably because of the flash). When you apply it on your skin it mattifies your skin and hides away some of your pores, some people don't recommend using this product during day as it leaves a white cast and it doesn't go well under your make up. But to be honest I am fine using this product under make up, but I am warning you guys not to put a thick layer under your make up, just a very very thin layer of this cream is enough, especially during summer season I think is really good as it heals my acne, while controlling the oil on my face, so my make up tends to last longer with the help of this product
The smell of it is very similar to herbal medicine or ointment, is not like typical cosmetics that have a very nice smell. The smell might put some people off, but I was fine with it.

When you apply it to your blemishes that just started emerging on you skin, this cream will bring it up to a "pop-able stage" with the white puss (not even joking it bring it right up to this stage after one application). I know it sounds gross but it does do that, and if you pop your pimple (yes I know I should do that but sometimes you just get tempted) and put the cream on the redness will go away in the next 2-3 days and within 4-5 days the pimple will disappear. But if you didn't pop it properly and apply this cream on you will see pus in the acne again.

Generally this works on acnes that are NOT cystic or hormonal.

But if you apply this on acne prone skin with no pimples emerging yet ( I wasn't sure how to use this cream before, whether on acne prone area or on the acne itself) you might experience a breakout period, but after the breakout period you will have nicer skin that is less bumpy. I don't know how to explain this properly but apparently according to the beautician, the deeper layer of my skin is not very clean, like it is congested (that probably explains why my acnes lasted for 6 years haha). So if your skin is like mine and you apply it to acne prone area you might experience severe breakouts as it helps bringing out the "dirty" stuff. So generally if you can stand the severe breakout period go ahead and try it because I seriously have to admit that you do get nicer skin afterwards (besides my pores of course, because my pores are still large hehe).

Will I purchase this again?
Probably not since my face has pretty much healed and also I still have half a jar left. You should never underestimate such a small jar coz a little goes a long way :)
